Warranty
Last updated: July 22, 2026
At Reloopo, we want you to feel confident when choosing quality pre-owned technology. Eligible refurbished devices purchased directly from Reloopo are covered by our 12-month limited hardware warranty, subject to the terms below.
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, any mandatory consumer rights available under the laws of your country or region.
1. Warranty Period and Eligibility
The warranty begins on the date your product is delivered and continues for 12 months.
To qualify, the product must:
- Have been purchased directly from the Reloopo website;
- Be covered by a valid Reloopo order or proof of purchase;
- Have an IMEI or serial number matching our order records;
- Have been used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions;
- Not have been repaired, modified or opened by an unauthorised person.
This warranty applies only to eligible devices identified as covered on the product page or order confirmation.
Replacement devices or repaired products remain covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or any longer period required by applicable law.
2. What Is Covered
The warranty covers hardware faults that arise during normal use and are not caused by accidental damage, misuse or external factors.
Depending on the device, covered faults may include:
- Display or touchscreen failure;
- Camera failure;
- Microphone or speaker failure;
- Charging-port failure;
- Button or vibration-motor failure;
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or mobile-connectivity hardware failure;
- Power or internal hardware failure;
- Other technical defects that prevent the device from operating as reasonably expected.
A cosmetic mark consistent with the advertised condition grade is not considered a fault.
3. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage, drops, impacts or crushing;
- Cracked screens, broken camera glass, dents or new scratches;
- Liquid, moisture, corrosion or water damage;
- Loss, theft or damage caused by a third party;
- Normal cosmetic wear and tear;
- Normal battery-capacity degradation;
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect or improper storage;
- Damage caused by incompatible or defective chargers, cables or accessories;
- Software issues, viruses, third-party applications or operating-system compatibility;
- Network, carrier, SIM or coverage issues not caused by device hardware;
- Data loss or the cost of recovering personal data;
- Unauthorised repairs, modifications or disassembly;
- Removed, altered or mismatched IMEI or serial numbers;
- Damage occurring after the product has been returned using unsuitable packaging.
Unless specifically stated on the product page, included cables, cases, screen protectors, ear tips and other consumable accessories are not covered by the 12-month device warranty.
Battery coverage
Rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity through age and use. Normal battery degradation is not covered.
However, a battery that develops a confirmed hardware fault during the warranty period may be considered for service where the issue is not caused by accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, overheating, unauthorised repair or normal capacity loss.
Any specific battery-health commitment shown on the product page remains subject to its stated terms.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a claim, email:
Please provide:
- Your full name;
- Your order number;
- The product model;
- The IMEI or serial number;
- A detailed description of the fault;
- Photographs or video showing the issue, where possible;
- Details of any troubleshooting already completed.
We may ask you to complete reasonable troubleshooting or diagnostic steps before authorising a return.
Do not send a product back before receiving return authorisation and instructions from Reloopo. Products returned without authorisation may be delayed or refused.
Before returning a device, you must:
- Back up any personal data you wish to keep;
- Sign out of Apple ID, Google, Samsung and other linked accounts;
- Disable Find My iPhone, Find My Device and similar services;
- Remove passwords, PINs and activation locks;
- Remove SIM cards and memory cards;
- Factory-reset the device where instructed.
Reloopo is not responsible for personal data left on a returned product or data lost during inspection, repair or replacement.
5. Return Shipping and Inspection
Once your claim has been authorised, we will provide the return address and shipping instructions. Reloopo does not offer collection services.
Where we provide a prepaid return label, you must use that label and follow the accompanying instructions.
If you are authorised to arrange shipping yourself, use a trackable service, package the product securely and retain proof of postage. Reloopo is not responsible for products lost or damaged in transit when sent using a customer-arranged or unauthorised service, except where required by law.
If the fault is confirmed as covered by this warranty, Reloopo will reimburse a reasonable, pre-approved standard return shipping cost where no prepaid label was available. Express or premium shipping arranged without prior approval will not be reimbursed.
When the product arrives, we may inspect:
- IMEI and serial number;
- Account-lock status;
- Cosmetic and physical condition;
- Display, cameras, audio and buttons;
- Charging, battery and connectivity;
- Signs of impact, liquid or unauthorised repair;
- Accessories included with the return.
We aim to complete the initial inspection within 5 business days of receiving the product, although complex faults may require additional time.
6. Warranty Resolution
If the claim is approved, Reloopo will, at its reasonable discretion and subject to applicable law:
- Repair the product;
- Replace it with the same or a comparable refurbished product;
- Offer an alternative product with your agreement;
- Issue a partial or full refund where repair or replacement is not appropriate.
Because refurbished products may have limited availability, an identical model, colour, storage capacity or cosmetic grade cannot always be guaranteed. Any replacement will have comparable specifications and will be of equal or greater value where reasonably possible.
We will not substitute a materially different product without your approval.
If no fault is found, or the issue is excluded from warranty coverage, we will contact you to explain the inspection result. You may be responsible for the cost of returning the product to you where permitted by law.
We aim to complete approved warranty service within 14 business days after receiving the product. Repair, replacement or international shipping requirements may extend this timeframe.
7. Consumer Rights
This warranty provides additional protection and does not exclude, restrict or replace any mandatory consumer rights.
Depending on your country or region, you may have additional rights where a product is:
- Faulty;
- Unsafe;
- Not of satisfactory quality;
- Not fit for its intended purpose;
- Not as described.
Those rights may apply even after this limited warranty expires. For example, UK guidance confirms that customers may retain statutory repair or replacement rights independently of a retailer’s warranty period. (gov.uk)
Where local law provides more favourable remedies or longer protection, the mandatory local requirements will apply.
